Generally, a dress or an item purchased in store cannot be returned especially if the purchase was made without pressure and with the help of our advisors and stylists. But as there is always a but...
Here are our policies.

Return to store

Return policies are not the same in-store and online.

  • For purchases made in store, items are final sale.
  • Final sale = no returns or refunds.
  1. When visiting a store, you fall in love with a dress, you buy it and leave with the dress. This sale is firm, definitive and final ( Final Sale)
  2. When visiting the store, you fall in love with a dress, but we have to order either the right size and/or the right color, a 60% deposit is required. If you cancel your purchase, you lose your deposit. This deposit is non-refundable . The remaining 40% will not be requested, we keep your items.
  3. If you proceed with the purchase, you will be notified when the item arrives in store so you can come and try it on and pick it up. Your balance is due; 40% ( Final Completed Sale )

If we make a mistake when ordering, we will take 110% responsibility for it.

Please note : Defects occurring after washing the item are not our responsibility.

GENERALLY ALL SALES ARE FINAL, BINDING AND ACTUAL, BUT...

  • At this time we do not accept returns for a refund , only a credit note or exchanges of goods may sometimes be possible.
  • Dresses and accessories eligible for return must be returned within 14 days of receipt of the product for either a store credit or an exchange.
  • Order by telephone with an advisor (considered to be online)
  • Before making a return, you must contact customer service to speak to an agent to validate your return.

A NOTE ON THE CHARTER OF SIZE

All of our dresses are sized in US sizes based on each designer's specifications; therefore, the size you normally wear may not be the size you would wear in a dress from our store. Before choosing your size, we recommend looking at the size chart for the dress you are interested in to ensure you are choosing the best size for your measurements. To ensure you get the best fit, click on the "Size Chart" link above the size selection or occasionally the last image of the dress you are choosing.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Your order can be cancelled without charge before processing. *

Items in stock

If you wish to cancel an item in stock (at the St-Jérôme store) from your order after it has been processed , * a 25% restocking fee will be applied and deducted from the payment.

Items to order

If you wish to cancel a pre-order item from your order after it has been processed, *a 50% restocking fee will be applied and deducted from the payment.

Items requiring special order** (tailoring)

Special orders cannot be cancelled , as these items are cut specifically for you.

NB: If a return is considered, shipping costs are on the customer's account

In-stock products will be processed and shipped within 3-4 business days. In-stock products in Los Angeles will ship 2 weeks after ordering. Ready-to-use items will take 3-9 months.

Why are in-store sales “final sale”?

At JAGA we focus on pressure-free advice. Our advisors and stylists will help you choose your dress. So you choose the right dress for you. It is a considered choice. You will not buy a dress on impulse.

What are the delivery times?

Usually your dress requirement is for an event planned in advance, therefore for a future need, which leaves us time to obtain certain models which are only available on order.

  • For products available in store immediately: Processing 3 to 4 business days + 5 days delivery.
  • For products available in warehouse in Los Angeles:2 weeks transfer + 5 days delivery.
  • For products made in Los Angeles: Less than 3 months + 2 weeks transfer + 5 days delivery.
  • For custom-made products: From 3 to 9 months depending on the case + 5 days delivery.

When the product arrives in store, we will contact you to let you know that your order has arrived.

You then have the choice of coming to the store:

    1. In order to try it and get it back.
    2. To try it and leave it for preparation and alteration (additional costs).
    3. To have it stored in the cedar cabinet. (fee of $35 / month)
    4. To have it delivered to you.

How many guests can accompany me?

  • For a prom date: The graduate can ideally be accompanied by a maximum of 3 people.
  • For a wedding appointment: The bride-to-be should ideally be accompanied by her procession, the mothers of the bride and groom or at least her best friend.

On a first date, can we try on dresses?

  • Yes, during the first appointment, you can try on the models that interest you. A first appointment is an opportunity to discover the store and meet its team and your advisor. In order to choose not only a dress, but one of the most important dresses of your life, to put all your trust in the company and the team that will accompany you until the big day. You will be advised, but above all listened to. You will discover yourself in sumptuous dresses and will be able to choose your favorite, surrounded with emotion by your loved ones, the procession.

How long should I shop for my wedding dress?

A wedding dress is shopped as soon as possible; the request is made and accepted, you have confirmed the date and location, now it is time to think about the dress.
Usually 12 to 18 months before the wedding date, depending on the quality, availability and alterations to be made to the dress.
Do you want a new dress, designed just for you? Or a ready-to-wear dress that is more economical. These factors can vary the time a lot.

When is the best time to shop for prom dress?
